It is no secret that actor Malvi Malhotra is a fighter. The actor, who was seen in Udaan, underwent a very traumatic event last year where she was stabbed multiple times for refusing a marriage proposal. However, Malvi’s strength is inspiring as she is already back to work and is looking forward to doing a lot more. “I really want to get on board with a new project. I am just waiting for the doctor to give me a go-ahead to take on a big commitment. Until that happens, I am making sure to be productive and am learning something new which will enrich my craft,” she says.

In fact, the actor has already completed a couple of projects, “I have done two music videos which will be released soon. One of them has been sung by Bhoomi Trivedi and the other one has been sung by Kunal Ganjawala. Ask her what she is looking to play on screen, and she says, “My dream role is to play a cop on screen. The life of a police officer has always fascinated me. Even when I was small, I used to play with guns, like I never played with dolls. I would love to play a role like the one Rani Mukerji played in Mardaani. Malvi hopes to get the chance to work with other talented artists in the industry “The industry is full of talent and I hope to interact with other accomplished actors such as Rajkumar Rao or Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal. I would love to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Anubhav Sinha,” she says.

 Ask her where she gets her strength from, and she says, “Well, from everywhere! There has never been one thing or one person who has been my idol. I have always been observant and everything around me motivates me to try harder.”
